Behringer today announced that its long-awaited new CMD range of DJ controllers is “now shipping”.

The company also announced that the controllers will all come with a full version of a new incarnation of Image Line’s Deckadance DJ software, Deckadance 2. The software’s biggest improvement over the original Deckadance is that it now works with four decks. While Deckadance may not be one of the bigger names in DJ software, Deckadance 2 is a considerable improvement over the earlier effort. Of course these controllers are Midi mappable to any Midi-compliant software.

Dec 22, 2014  some time ago I bought an usb audio card and in bundle I found a Deckadance LE serial number. Now I have bought a behringer midi controller (CMD Studio 2a) and I have found a new serial number. My problem is, when I download and install the regcode, the midi controller does not work but if the software still in demo mode everything works fine. Free Software provided (Deckadance 2) was nearly impossible to download and install as it has not been supported since about 2014, so had to search various forums to get a resolution eventually, the total lack of setting up instructions for the audio. The Behringer CMD Studio 2A Ultra-Portable Dual Deck DJ MIDI Controller is designed for live DJ performances such as at a party or club. The controller features two decks with touch-sensitive jog wheels for scratching, pitch bending controls, backlit buttons, two 45mm channel faders, 3-band EQs, cue point buttons, sample buttons, sync buttons, transport controls, library navigation, track load buttons.

We will continue to host Deckadance 2.43 (and activation keys) on our servers for the foreseeable future, but do encourage you to download and save a copy for your use until Stanton comes on stream.
