This may be a common question with what seems a simple solution and you may wondering how I haven't found the answer. I have browsed many topics with this same issue and still can't get this to work.
I have Suite and none of my files or packs are currently showing up, not even the built in ones. When trying to click on categories where I can view all my instruments and everything, nothing is showing up.

Why Can't I Download Stuff On Ableton Free

I first thought I'd be able to solve this by going to Preferences and then Audio but still not working and what is the difference between 'Location of Live 8 library' (I have Live 9?) and 'Location of User Library' and 'Installation Folder for Packs' in the Preferences?
So where should I keep all my packs once they are downloaded? What is a good folder to keep them in? Will the included in suite ones be in there as well?
I've tried putting using my music folder as the directory for the 'Installation Folder for Packs' as that is where I saved the session drums download as an example but nothing is still showing up as shown in the screen shots.
Everything was working when I first bought the program a year ago but then I stopped using Ableton for a while and moved files and saving up space and changed some settings during that time and all of sudden nothing is showing up in categories.
I have tried deleting Ableton and all my packs completely and reinstalling them but still no luck as it still says 'not set' to my libraries in preferences.
I've searched many topics on this and still can't seem to find an answer. Please help me get Live up and working again. Thank you.
